Who or how did you get started scrapbooking?
Before I began scrap booking I had been very involved in the vintage thrift/craft blog world before I stumbled across Kelli Crowe’s blog one day and her designs blew me away. Before that I had always thought scrap booking was all puffy hot dog stickers and tri-mat photos. Obviously I was wrong.
What is your favorite color combo?
Pink and red.
What is your favorite thing about scrapbooking?
Scrapbooking for me is just another creative outlet, just like sewing and collage/altered art work. What I love most is that one day I can concentrate on making a page that tells the story behind the picture and the next I can pile a ton of embellishments on a page and really concentrate on the design aspect, all while loving that I get to play and cut paper.
Do you record every moment or just the special ones?
I record it all; although to be honest I think I’ve only done two or three "event" pages. I’d rather concentrate on recording the thoughts and moments that I’ll forget next year instead of concentrating on who gave my daughter a My Little Pony toy for her 5th birthday.
